LIMA, Nov 15 — Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Lima on Thursday, kicking off a week-long diplomatic blitz in Latin America by inaugurating the massive Chancay deep-water port, one of Beijing's most ambitious infrastructure investments in Latin America.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 1 — The Malaysian embassy in Peru said it was closely monitoring the latest development in the South American nation, adding that no Malaysians were affected by the current protests which are taking place in certain parts of the country, including in the capital city of Lima.
